Jezikovna politika in vrednotenje znanstvene odličnosti / Language policy and the academic excellence evaluation

<div><a href="http://www.pazu.si/predstavitev/?id=8184"><em>Albina Nećak Lük</em></a></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>ANALI PAZU HD, let. 2, 1/2016, strani/pages 44-53</div><div>Celotno besedilo / Full text (<a href="/sites/default/files/Anali_PAZU_HD2_1_Albina.pdf">PDF</a>)</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Povzetek:</strong> Med tematikami vrednotenja znanstvene odličnosti in položaja visokošolskih učiteljev se vztrajno pojavlja tudi vprašanje izbire oz. rabe jezika/ov v pedagoškem procesu na visokošolski ravni in še zlasti pri objavljanju raziskovalnih izsledkov. V prvi vrsti se razpravlja o uradno podprtem, višjem vrednotenju objav znanstvenega dela v tujem/angleškem jeziku oz. v tujem znanstvenem tisku (sistem ocenjevanja ARRS). Prispevek razčlenjuje možne posledice nedorečene jezikovne politike in prakse pri uvajanju internacionalizacije v slovenski visokošolski prostor ter razgrinja razloge, ki narekujejo pozorno in smotrno vzpostavljanje pa tudi spremljanje razmerij med slovenščino in angleščino v visokošolski pedagoški dejavnosti in v znanosti.<br /><strong>Ključne besede:</strong> sociolingvistika, jezikovna politika, jezikovno načrtovanje, jezik znanosti, internacionalizacija.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Abstract:</strong> The question of language choice and language use with university pedagogical activities as well as with publication of the scientific research outcomes has been a permanent issue in the debate on evaluation of academic excellence and the related status of the university teachers in Slovenia. Formal support to publishing of scientific reports in a foreign, usually English language which is promoted as a mark of quality of the scientific production (in the system of evaluation of the national research agency) has been disputed on several occasions. In view of the emerging internationalisation of the university sphere, some possible consequences of an inadequately formulated language policy as well as reasons for creation of an expedient relationshps between Slovene and English as languages of high/higher education and scientific dissemination, have been discussed in this study.<br /><strong>Key words:</strong> Sociolinguistics, Language Policy, Language Planning, Language of Science, Internationalization.<p class="MsoNormal">&nbsp;</p></div>
