For Authors

Magazine ANALI PAZU HD accepts scientific and professional manuscripts with social and humanistic content that have not been published elsewhere or be currently under consideration for any other publication. A special attention is given to obtaining the articles that examine topics connected with Pomurje and wider Pannonian region.Required length A manuscript should not exceed 60.000 characters with spaces; including two summaries, endnotes and references. A short scientific contribution should range from 3.000 to 7.500 characters.Language <ul><li>A contribution can be written in Slovene or English, exceptionally in another foreign language. </li></ul><ul><li>In case that a contribution is written in a foreign language it has to include extended abstract written in the Slovenian language. On the other hand, if a contribution is written in the Slovenian language it has to include an extended abstract in English. </li></ul><ul><li>It has to be written in the standard written language, regarding the rules of scientific expression. </li></ul><ul><li>The Editorial Office has a right to return the article for a proofread.  </li></ul>Preparation <ul><li> A contribution should be written in Microsoft Word. It should be typed in Times New Roman font, size 10, with a line spacing of 1.15.</li></ul><ul><li>Text should be justified. No empty spaces between paragraphs, no double spaces or active hyperlinks within the text.</li></ul><ul><li>The first page must include a title of the article, an abstract (of no more than 120 words) and selected keywords (up to 7 words) in Slovene and English. An extended abstract (500-700 words) should come at the end of contribution.</li></ul><ul><li>All references cited should be included in a list of the cited literature and vice versa. </li></ul><ul><li>Citations in the text should follow the APA referencing style.</li></ul><ul><li>A contribution should have a clear structure, where appropriate including intermediate headings of chapters and sub-chapters.</li></ul><ul><li>Tables and figures should be presented within the text; figures should be presented in a separate document, in an appropriate image resolution. </li></ul>Submission<ul><li>A contribution has to be sent to <a href="mailto:anali@pazu.si">anali@pazu.si</a> (in .doc and .pdf form). </li></ul><ul><li>It has to be named after the first three words of the title. In a separate document, send the following information: name and surname of the author, affiliation - organization that the author works with, e-mail address and the title. </li></ul><ul><li>For the article’s submission, the following statement has to be enclosed. <a href="http://www.anali-pazu.si/sites/default/files/Authorship_statement__1.doc... style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; color: #31ba95; border: none windowtext 1.0pt; mso-border-alt: none windowtext 0cm; padding: 0cm; background: white; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;" lang="EN-GB">Authorship statement</a>.</li></ul><ul><li>When a contribution is published, all the moral copyrights belong to the author; however, copyright ownership of the material is assigned exclusively to the publisher.   </li></ul>Review system<ul><li>Before publishing, all of the contributions are sent out for an anonymous review. Editorial board chooses the referee. It may also decide that a contribution does not meet the formal criterions and for that reason is not sent for a review and is rejected for publication. </li></ul><ul><li>The referee has to return the completed review form to the editorial board, along with the contribution and referee’s comments.</li></ul><ul><li>Editorial Board informs the author about the assessment and about any necessary or recommended corrections. In doing that, Editorial Board has to make sure that the referee remains anonymous. The author has to return the article in 15 days at the latest after the date of appeal or file a request during this period to extend the deadline.</li></ul><ul><li>The final decision for acceptance or declination of the contribution rests with the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine and is based on the referee’s assessment, field editor’s opinion and possibly opinions of other members of the editorial board. </li></ul><ul><li>Authors will be notified of contribution’s acceptance or non-acceptance in 3 months after submission.</li></ul>Publishing<ul><li>Published contributions will be available on the magazine’s web page as soon as possible. </li></ul><ul><li>After the article is published, a copy of the print issue is sent to the author’s home or work address; additionally, an electronic copy of the article’s offprint is sent to author's email address. </li></ul>For any additional questions, please contact our Editorial Board.Each article receives UDC number and falls into one of these categories:<ul><li>Original scientific article</li></ul><ul><li>Review article</li></ul><ul><li>Short scientific article</li></ul><ul><li>Professional article</li></ul><ul><li>Review</li></ul>
